Want to join a team? See below for all the information on becoming an Alkimos Raider and starting your basketball journey with us. All player registrations are through PlayHQ via a link provided to players once they nave been allocated a position in the team.

Fees

Registration fees consist of the following:

RAIDERS Fee

The current Raiders fee for the Alkimos Raiders is $70 (inc. GST). This fee is reflective of the fact that the Alkimos Raiders do not train.

Wanneroo Basketball Association Fee

This fee is set by and payable to the WBA and is a one-off fee for the duration of the season. The current WBA fee is $225 (inc. GST).

Basketball WA Affiliation

This fee is set by and payable to BWA at the point of registration. All members playing competition basketball in Western Australia are required to pay this fee. It is valid for 12 months and makes the member an active and financial playing member with BWA. The current BWA Affiliation fee is $43.84 per player (inc. GST).

PlayHQ Service Fee

A 1.49% fee is charged to all participants and is paid to PlayHQ on all transactions.

BA Game Development Levy:

This fee is set by Basketball Australia. All members playing competition basketball in Australia are required to pay this fee. It is valid for 12 months. The Game Development Levy is to support the growth and development of basketball at all levels of the game and to enhance opportunities for the sport.
